Boring post

Today I'm pretty much cope up in my hotel room.

Cooked Maggi-Mee for brunch using a water heater/kettle.

Web-surfing, mainly blogs and youtube.

Doing my homework.

Doing household chores, like laundry and all the washing stuffs.

I got so hungry and bored that I literally went to the toilet for a shower without closing the door.
P.s// There's no one in the room, so I'm not crazy, lol.

I stood in the hot shower for at least half an hour.

Then I decided to go for a swim because the pool was empty.

Stayed in the pool for around half an hour?
It was so refreshing and relaxing to swim alone in the pool, not creepy at all!

I stopped swimming because it began to rain and I even saw lightning!
Damn...Just when I found my only recreation for the day...

Went back to my hotel room and once again stood in the hot shower for at least half an hour or so... With my swim suit on..

(omg, the water bill is sooo gonna be higher than normal if I did this occasionally)

It was not long after before I realize I was daydreaming in the toilet.

I decided I might as well shower again for the day.

& voila, I washed my hair with shampoo for 3 times and conditioner with 2 times.
(Really hate my dry hair!)

It seems that me showering in the toilet is the highlight of today.
Haha, I think it really is.

I'll be having school tomorrow...
Can't wait! I'm starting to miss the chicken rice in the school canteen.

It's weird isn't it?

As a foreign student in Thailand, I should be exploring the specialties like Thai Tom Yam, Sea food, or something that is local...

Instead I eat chicken rice in school everyday, a food that is easily found in Singapore.

Haha, stupid.

Fashion is like Botox. It is fabulous, but only last for six months.

Went out to Siam square/MBK/etc today.
A place for shopping!

Just went there yesterday, but decided to visit the place again to get some stuff.
Also because there's no school today.

It will be rather boring to stay at the hotel.

Agree?

My friends & I took a cab to the nearest sky train (Mrt).

Photobucket

The cab was rather interesting.
It has a "no farting" sign?

Photobucket

Haha, we thought it was rather hilarous.
Oh, and you can also buy 4D from the 4 digit no. in the cab! ;)

We took a sky train to Siam.
& immediately after we reach, the place is filled with events & activities (as usual).

Everywhere we walk, there is sure an event going on!
Be it festival, competition, performance, fund-raising, commercial..

You name it, they have it~

Photobucket

There's a Japan Festa going on, that explains all the screaming!
Lots of teenagers performing hip-hop/locking and singing on the stage.

Photobucket

Btw, every time we walk around somewhere crowded in Bangkok, there is bound to be little kids/disabled people begging for money.

I find it rather pitiful. (We always donate coins to them)

Some of them even wore school uniform and their age is very young.
I wonder if there is a mastermind out there forcing them to beg?

Photobucket

The shopping area in siam square is really intense.
Till now, we have not covered the whole market area.

We gave up after walking a part of it!

Photobucket

The stuff there can be cheap/expensive depending on the shop and your bargaining skills.

There is a time whereby the sales person gave me a discount of 299baht to 150baht within 3 minutes!
I didn't buy it though, because I don't need it!

Siam square is a really huge place.
There are lots of interesting decorations on the streets too!

Photobucket

Besides that, there are also many interesting stores!

There are stores that sell celebrities stuff, clothes from the 70's, disney brand miniatures, cosplay costumes, etc.

One store that I find the most interesting is this!

Photobucket

Yes, the dolls are super cute!
The designs are oh-so-detail.

Here are some pictures I manage to take.

Photobucket

Haha, and the cute purple hair doll playing xp computer.
See, it's so detailed that even the computer has the xp sticker on it to make it realistic.

Photobucket

One more thing I like about the stores in siam square.
They all have big mirrors! (I think)

Photobucket

I had A&W chicken waffle for lunch.
It's my first time dining in A&W!

I heard from my friends that the A&W restaurants closed down in Sg.

Photobucket

We continued to walk around the siam area.
Finally, we made our way to MBK to buy some stuff.

On the way there, I keep on playing with my bubble-gum~
F.Y.I// It drop out of my mouth after a while -,-

Photobucket

The girls & I bought swim suit in MBK.
Yes! We need it so that we could swim~

F.Y.I// There's lots of hot AM over there!

SPG FTW PICTURE:

Photobucket

HAHA.
The position of the kiss was kinda wrong though!

& during the trip, Amanda keep on saying "I love my hair"!

P.s// I like her hair too! Better than before IMO (:

Photobucket

As I have said, there's lots of "happenings" here in Siam.

Every where we go, there is sure to be an event going on!

While we are heading back to the sky train, we saw mines.
These mine actors are actually from art school.
They act in the public to gain experience and earn money for some fund-raising stuff?

Photobucket

We were encouraged to take a picture with them too.

Photobucket

Alicia, Lee Ming, & Me took turns to take photos with them.
Amanda was noble enough to be our photographer, hahaha.

Photobucket

Alright, that's all for today!

I'm freaking tired right now after a long day of traveling.
It's raining right now, making me drowsy.

Nights people!
x,x

Traumatized

I love my Happy Tree Friends shirt and Rayban shades!
& maybe my new hair.
Just highlight and perm it.

I'm so traumatized right now.
Should have heeded everyone's advice- which is to leave my hair alone as it is.
Stupid to go and perm and highlight it.

Now it's so dry!!!

I wanna cry.

Need.To.Repair.My.Hair.

So anyway, I was super damn unlucky today too.
I broke my nail, so deep that is hurts like wtf.

The happenings (2)

DAY 2:

The second day was damn awesome!

We had a short briefing in school, mainly to introduce/welcome us to BUIC.
BUIC is a short form for our school, Bangkok university (;

Bangkok university is an international school of 27 countries!
Can you imagine that?

All the guys and girls are hot HOT
HOT in the school.
Lots of mix blood and Caucasian people. Even the Thai people are hot.
The school looks like a jap/korean school.

During the evening, Gift (our in-charge/caretaker?) took us out for shopping!

Photobucket

We shopped around a place called 'Lotus', a night market.
The stuff there are all cheap! I can go crazy and "OMG! *gasp*" over there.

& Bargaining is a sport down there.
One which I'm weak at! I didn't manage to bargain much because I can't understand their language.

Photobucket

Before going to Lotus, the night market, we had a whole new experience of bus ride!

The bus ride was COMPLETELY DIFFERENT from the one in singapore.
There will a person in-charge of issuing tickets and collecting coins from passenger instead of a machine or ez-link card service.

Everyone excited to get their bus ticket;

Photobucket

Photobucket

oh, and the bus is pretty run-down.
Not like the one in singapore which has air-conditioner and clean.
They have fan instead. But overall its a pretty good experience!

Photobucket

We also pass by several run-down buildings across the street.
We saw a building covered by graffiti!

Super cool!

Photobucket
Photobucket

Up next, it's shopping time!!

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

We met a really cute store auntie!
& she's so cute when she twizx hahaha.

Photobucket
Photobucket

Since she's so cute and friendly, we patronized her store!

I bought a really cute red polka ribbon from her store.
Love it lots, didn't regret!

Photobucket

Btw, there are lots of stuff selling in the night market!
Not to add, they are really cheap and nice <3

FYI// not only did they sell clothes, accessories, perfumes, make-ups...

They also sell animals!

Photobucket

& Each rabbit cost like..only 20~40 SGD?
They are real cute, some of them are even the rare species (:

OH, AND THEY ARE REAL RABBITS OK NOT SOFT TOY LAH~

Besides finding the night market really amusing, the Macdonald in Thailand is also different!
In a way...

Let me introduce you, the Thai Ronald Macdonlad.

Photobucket

Haha, isn't he cute?
Not like the Singapore one, sit down cross leg with one arm on the bench like ah beng.
;X

Photobucket

Alright thats all for day 2.
Shall blog up day 3 soon! :D

The happenings (Day 1)

DAY 1:

Mom, Dad, Sis, Nelson, Jerrel, Damian & Keith sent us off in the airport.
I think everyone got emotional because they're gonna be away for 6 weeks in some foreign country.
Hey c'mon, we'll be back, safe & sound (:

Photobucket

The flight took around 2 hours.
I had fun seating with Beverly & Hakim.

Hakim is actually afraid of sitting in an airplane.

Haha, he'll go gaga when the plane goes up or down.
Pretty satisfying to see his priceless expression ;P

Photobucket

He's back to normal when the plane landed.
Showing off his height, as usual!

Soon after, the people from Bangkok University came to pick us up to the hotel.

The hotel that we're staying at is called Boss Tower.
Sound kinda classy and cool?...old fashion? ;x

Photobucket

& Yeah, it's Hakim again in the-sea-of-girls.
p.s// he's a camwhore freak ;P

Photobucket

We had a mini-tour around the hotel.
There's a swimming pool, sauna (of course), gym, internet room, and so on.

Here's the view of the swimming pool.
Not quite a complete view because we aren't suppose to step in the pool with shoes ;)

Photobucket

After we have been introduced to our room, we set off for shopping!
Shopping for basic necessities I mean, not that exciting as I sound.

We went to Carrefour. The shopping center that is close to our hotel.
On the way there, Donna commented that the view of Bangkok is pretty similar to Malaysia.
True?

Photobucket

We shopped for many stuff!
Unknowingly, we spent around 1k baht just on the first day ;(

Photobucket

Oh yea, something surprising and unexpected happen during our shopping in Carrefour.
Apparently at a certain time, all the staff and worker in Carrefour would gather to sing and dance!

So united aye?

Photobucket

I gotta say shopping in Bangkok Carrefour is a 'new thing' to me.
The service there is really good.

Even when you are passing in or out of the place, the security guard would greet you!

The stuff that we bought;

Photobucket

Overall, Day 1 was great!

Except that I spent lots of money just on Day 1. ;(
Tons on money spent on basic necessities, sim card, & internet connection.

Mommy I need more money~
